"Growing up with books" contest
"Growing up with books" contest focuses on student maturity through the reading process; the sustainable development of reading habits and reading skills in students; the spread of a passion for reading and reading culture in the school environment.
Guidelines
- The contest is open to all students from Grade 6 to Grade 9
- Contestants choose a book they love and make a creative project.
Recommendations: In the process of reading, students generate ideas, think creatively, and work on creative projects such as write a reading diary, draw pictures, design a reading promotion flyer; compose a poem, song, or short story to promote reading; writing perceptions about the book you have read that has an impact on yourself, helping yourself to have good changes (changing awareness, attitude, behavior; improving knowledge; practicing skills; suggest the creation, ...) or creation of a technical product (with the explanation of the product: the book has influenced students to make the product, the meaning of the product); ...
- Contestants submit an entry via the email address: library@vfis.tdtu.edu.vn or directly at the VFIS Secondary Library (Explore Library).
- Submission date: from 07/12/2020 to 10/12/2020
- Language for entry: Vietnamese
- The Organization board will select 04 entries (the number of including 2 entries for grades 6,7; 2 entries for grades 8,9) to participate in the contest at the district level.
- Contestants should choose the book that has been translated into Vietnamese with specific purposes (1 of 5 benefits of the book: intellectual development, positive sentiment, good morality, good spiritual habits, a high value of life) to participate in the contest.
- The organizers have the right to use the entries for the purpose of promoting the contest and reading promotion activities.
