Reading Culture Ambassador contest 2021
Purpose
- The contest aims to awaken the passion for reading books and the spread of reading habits in the community.
- The winning works will be sent to the District 7 Cultural Center to participate in the District Contest.
Guidelines
- The contest is open to all students from 1st grade to 10th grade.
- Students can choose one of the following topics, each topic includes 2 parts.
Topic 1:
Part 1: Sharing a book that you love or a book that changed your perception or your life.
Part 2: If you are selected as a Reading culture ambassador, what will you do to encourage people to read more?
Topic 2:
Part 1: Compose a work (story or poem) to encourage people in reading books (Candidates are encouraged to draw illustrations).
Part 2: If you are selected as a Reading culture ambassador, what will you do to encourage people to read more?
Topic 3:
Part 1: Creates follow-up to a story or book that you've read (Candidates are encouraged to draw illustrations or using bilingual languages)
Part 2: If you are selected as a Reading culture ambassador, what will you do to encourage people to read more?
- Candidates submit an entry via the email address: library@vfis.tdtu.
- At the end of the entry, write the following information: student's full name; Date of birth; Class; School; District; Phone number; Email (if any).
- Language for entry: English or Vietnamese (priority)
- The Organization board will select up to 10 entries to participate in the contest at the district level.
- Candidates can present the test by writing the essay or recording a clip (video, audio) and must fully answer the questions posed in the topic that they choose.
Please note:
- For the entry form of writing the essay: candidates can type or handwriting, not exceeding 10,000 words in length.
- For the entry in the form of recording clips: minimum resolution of 640px x 480px, ensuring the image and sound quality; effects, visual effects, and sound effects can be used. The use of images, songs, or sounds must comply with the copyright regulations. The length of the clip is a minimum of 5 minutes, maximum of 10 minutes, and saved in popular formats such as MP4, MPEG, Mkv, Flv...;
- The entry is a creative product of the individual candidate, has not submitted or entered another contest. Cases of using the contents, excerpts, sentences, pictures, ... of others in the contest must have the full source citation;
- The organizers are entitled to use the entries for the purpose of promoting the contest and reading promotion activities.
