Reading Culture Ambassador 2025
The Reading Culture Ambassador Contest is an activity designed for students to encourage the sharing and spreading of a love for reading. It aims to cultivate reading habits and skills among the younger generation, thereby igniting passion, promoting a reading movement, and developing a reading culture within the community. The contest also seeks to enhance the ability to access information and knowledge, foster creativity, and contribute to the building of cultural values and human standards.
Content
- Entries must respond comprehensively to the two questions provided in the examination paper, which should adhere to the principles of morality, transparency, and be aligned with Vietnamese cultural traditions. Entries should ensure accuracy, information security, and compliance with relevant laws.
- Shared books in the entries must be clearly introduced with full publication sources. Students are encouraged to share recently published books that are topical, have topics close to life, and express the aspiration to build a prosperous, happy, and prosperous country.

For Primary and Secondary school level: |

Option 2: Question 1: Write a follow-up to a work you have read to spread the love of reading, thereby arousing responsibility for yourself, your family, society and nurturing love for your homeland, country and Vietnamese people. Question 2: Please develop an action plan to develop a reading culture for yourself and the community, especially for children in remote areas, ethnic minority children, and children with print disabilities? For Highschool level: |
Option 1: Question 1: In the works you have read, which work has a strong impact on your thinking, arousing your aspiration, will to strive, pioneer, create, and confidently enter a new era of the nation? Question 2: Please write an initiative or experience to promote reading for the following subjects: people in border and island areas; areas with difficult socio-economic conditions; ethnic minorities, the elderly, people with print disabilities, etc. (State the goals, beneficiaries, work content, and expected results. Encourage initiatives that have been applied in practice and have evidence). |
Option 2: Question 1: Please compose a literary work (short story) to spread the love of reading, thereby arousing responsibility for oneself, family, society and the aspiration to build a prosperous, prosperous, civilized and happy country. Question 2: Please write an initiative or experience to promote reading for the following subjects: people in border and island areas; areas with difficult socio-economic conditions; ethnic minorities, the elderly, people with print disabilities, etc. (State the goals, beneficiaries, work content, and expected results. Encourage initiatives that have been applied in practice and have evidence). |
Format
Each participant must submit an independent entry (not group work), presented in Vietnamese or bilingual English-Vietnamese. Entries can be in either of the following formats:
- Written (typed or handwritten): Entries should not exceed 5,000 words (15 typed pages).
- Video: The video should be between 5 to 10 minutes in length, incorporating appropriate effects and techniques while ensuring high image and sound quality. The file size must not exceed 2GB, with a minimum resolution of 480p and a frame size of at least 854 x 480 pixels. It should be saved in common formats such as .mp4, .avi, .mpeg, .mkv, .klv, etc., and must be suitable for uploading to YouTube.
Additional Requirements:
- Entries must be original creations of the participants (videos must be personally performed by the participants, including narration and storytelling), not previously exhibited, displayed, published on print or digital platforms, or submitted to any other contest.
- Use of content, excerpts, quotes, images, etc., from others in the entries must be properly cited. Videos using images, songs, or audio must adhere to intellectual property rights regulations. Participants are responsible for any legal disputes related to copyright infringement.
- Entries submitted will not be returned to participants. The Organizing Committee may use the submitted works for promotional purposes and to support reading promotion activities, without assuming responsibility for any copyright disputes related to the entries.
