Fines and lost items - Students - Primary library

a. For regular items: The users will be required to purchase the identical item (either new or item in good condition) themselves + Handling fee 20.000 VND

b. For out-of-print items: The replacement is 3 times the list price of the item at the time of processing compensation (The amount of the item's list price is calculated according to the rate of VND) + Handling fee 20.000 VND + Shipping fee 15% of the item’s list price.

c. For the loss of 1 volume of the series: The replacement cost is 5 times the list price of the series divided equally by the number of volumes at the time of processing compensation (the list price of the series is calculated according to the rate of VND) + Handling fee 20.000 VND + Shipping fee 15% of the item's list price.

d. For rare items (on the list of rare items): purchase the identical item or pay a replacement cost 10 times the value of the item (in case the identical item cannot be purchased) + Handling fee 20,000 VND + Shipping fee 15% of the item's list price.

• Payment method for damaged/lost items and purpose of using replacement cost: Cash only. The amount of replacement cost is used for the purpose of preserving the Library materials under the management of the VFIS General Administration Department.
